Is it word for word?
No. The publisher’s principles are about being understood when read aloud, and it calls the result an accurate translation rather than a paraphrase. The literal-to-idiomatic meter shows where readers place its feel.
What text is it based on?
The publisher’s pages we fetched say it is translated from the Hebrew and Greek texts but do not name the editions used, so none is recorded here.
