Conflicts of interest

REVA Digital LLC builds, hosts and operates Christian Rated and has products listed here. Participating companies can monitor and take part in moderation approvals; ownership, commercial relationships and completed outside reviews are disclosed separately.

Built, Hosted and Operated by REVA Digital LLC. REVA also makes REVA Bible Companion. Participating companies can be given access to monitor review activity and take part in moderation approvals through their assigned organization roles. REVA remains the site operator; another company’s participation is not shared ownership, a commercial endorsement or a completed independent audit.

REVA products are listed alongside alternatives, which creates a conflict of interest. The safeguards below describe how that relationship is disclosed and how moderation actions can be checked.

REVA Kids, the separate child app paired with REVA Bible Companion, is also ours. Every safeguard below applies to both products, including the rules illustrated using REVA’s name. REVA Kids has its own facts-only listing, appears on Apps & sites and Kids through that one listing, and is excluded from comparisons and choosers.

What we cannot do to our own product

Each rule names how you can check it. “In the code” means there is no setting or button that does the thing; “published” means the evidence is on a public page every night.

  1. Relevant guide coverage, with ownership and review status visible. REVA Bible Companion and REVA Kids may appear in guides when they fit the reader’s question, alongside relevant alternatives. A mention is marked “our product” and links to the listing and public sources. Every guide identifies its author and whether an external review is complete. Maker statements are attributed; a guide mention is not an independent endorsement, a score or a seal. Our product listings still have no editorial description or Disputes panel written by us, no comparison page includes them, and no chooser returns them. Check: reading without ads, reading with children, and each product’s spec sheet. The guide disclosure appears above the article, and the product is identified again where it is discussed.

  2. Ties break against REVA. In every sort, filter and segment, if REVA ties with another listing it is shown below it. It never sorts above a tie. Check: in the code, and in the sort order on any hub.

  3. Nobody can change a number by hand. The headline share and the meters are computed nightly by one job from the published formula and constants. There is no override, no “featured” flag, and no way to count or uncount a review except the rule. Check: Current scoring rules and constants; the monthly data dump below.

  4. Insiders cannot review or vote on REVA, ever. Employees, contractors and their households are blocked at the composer. Everywhere else they abstain until 4 April 2027, and after that their reviews carry an “Insider” badge and are never counted. Check: “Insider attempts refused” on the REVA line of the transparency page.

5a. A second organization is the normal approval route. A decline, removal or freeze is proposed by one organization and normally confirmed by a different person from a second organization. A different REVA organization administrator may confirm a REVA proposal under the limited override conditions in the moderation policy: no partner has an assigned moderator, or the configured waiting period has passed when that timed route is enabled. Every override is marked and counted separately. Check: the “Takedown proposals” and “By organization” blocks on the transparency page; takedown.proposed and takedown.confirmed in the public vote log.

  1. Every removal of a review about REVA is reported on its own line, with its sentiment. Outside oversight reviewers will be named below once appointed; their role and any completed review of a removal will be identified explicitly. We do not present planned oversight as already operating. Check: Transparency, nightly; the takedown log.

  2. Commercial links stay separate from ratings. Seller buttons require an approved agreement or seller request. Paid links are labeled and disclose the relationship; a payment cannot change a rating or review outcome. Reference citations stay available for checking facts. The Company 1, Company 2 and Company 3 names are collaboration placeholders, not claims of signed agreements. Check: How seller links work, the links policy, and the disclosure beside any enabled paid link.

  3. No search-engine rating markup on REVA’s page. Every other page may carry structured rating data; REVA’s does not, so this site never feeds a star rating for our own app into search results. Check: view the page source.

  4. REVA’s facts come through the same maker form as everyone’s, verified by the same editor against the same kind of public page, and marked “provided by the maker” the same way. Check: the maker form; REVA’s spec sheet.

What we publish so you can check without asking us

  • The transparency page, nightly, with REVA on its own line.
  • A monthly data dump: every counted and uncounted response, every removal with reason and sentiment, every freeze, as CSV and JSON under CC BY. Enough to recompute every meter on the site.
  • The scoring constants, versioned, with a changelog line for every change.
  • The takedown log and the disputes log, with maker replies.
  • Staff and household disclosures, below, updated when they change.
  • The public vote log, anchored on Solana, which makes every rule above checkable after the fact.
  • The partner list, below, with the program, terms and dates, published before any paid link goes live.

Partners

Programs that pay us a commission when you buy through a link. A partner is listed here, with the program, its terms and the date we joined, before the first paid link goes live, and stays listed after a program ends, with the end date.

Participating companies and organization access

REVA Digital LLC builds, hosts and operates Christian Rated. Authorized representatives of participating companies can inspect the review queue, reports, appeals and moderation proposals, publish reviews, and take part in the proposal approval process. A person acts for one organization at a time. The live list below records registered organizations and assigned moderators; it does not certify an outside review or give access to REVA’s operating functions.

The normal route requires a second organization and a different person to confirm a proposed decline, removal or freeze. Limited operator overrides and appeal exceptions are described in the moderation policy, recorded explicitly, and counted on Transparency. Neither company participation nor a paid seller agreement can change a review score by hand.

  • Company 1 — collaboration placeholder; no access or completed review is asserted by this label.
  • Company 2 — collaboration placeholder; no access or completed review is asserted by this label.
  • Company 3 — collaboration placeholder; no access or completed review is asserted by this label.

External guide reviewers

We are bringing in contributors from outside REVA to review guides and products fairly. A guide receives a completed external-review credit only when it publishes the reviewer’s name, relevant role, affiliation, connections or compensation, and the date they reviewed that version. Until those details are present, it says External review pending. The updated guides currently carry that pending status.

External contributors keep control of their conclusions. REVA may provide factual corrections and a maker reply; it cannot require a favorable conclusion or remove criticism because it is unfavorable. Claims about testing must identify the product, edition or app version and what was actually used. A later substantive guide update requires a fresh review credit or removal of the old one.

Editorial contributors, vetted product reviewers and moderation partners are different roles. Contributing to a guide does not automatically grant a vetted badge or make a person’s product rating count. Employment, contract, household and other maker connections are disclosed and handled under the eligibility rule and vetted-reviewer criteria, including when a contributor is paid for an assignment. Our staff and their households remain blocked from reviewing or voting on our own products.

Separately commissioned outside oversight

Participating-company moderators can monitor the review process and take part in approvals through their assigned roles, as described above. A separately commissioned outside review of the moderation log, REVA-product handling or insider disclosures is different work. Its reviewer, scope, connections, compensation and completion date will be identified when available.

No completed, separately commissioned oversight report is credited here yet. That statement does not mean participating-company moderators lack access to the review process.

Staff and household disclosures

Connections to a listed maker must be disclosed, and the person must recuse from decisions about it. The table below is a disclosure template: bracketed names and relationships are placeholders, not a confirmed staff roster.

When we get it wrong

Every breach of a rule on this page, found by us or by anyone else, is logged here with the date, what happened, who was affected, and what changed. Entries are never removed.

No entries yet. The first one will be here, not in a blog post.

Think we slipped?

Report it. Conflict reports about REVA enter the operator’s staff inbox. Include a reply email if you want a written response. When an outside oversight reviewer is appointed to a case, the record identifies that reviewer and their response. The answer is logged whether or not we agree.

REVA remains accountable for operating Christian Rated. Participating companies provide additional review-process oversight through assigned roles; the records show what people did, while readers and appeal reviewers still have to judge whether those decisions were fair.

Operator and moderation access

Built, Hosted and Operated by REVA Digital LLC.Authorized representatives of participating companies can monitor the review process and take part in review approvals and moderation proposals.

The list below records registered organizations and assigned moderators. Registration, commercial agreements and collaboration placeholders do not by themselves grant access or certify an outside review.

  • REVA · site operator · Assigned moderators: 0 · No moderator accounts assigned · Registered 26 October 2026

A decline, removal or freeze normally needs confirmation by a different person from a second organization. A limited operator override is recorded separately on Transparency.

Configured proposal expiry: 14 days.

A REVA organization administrator may use the recorded override when no partner has an assigned moderator, or after 7 days. The proposer cannot confirm their own proposal.
